Interactives & Educational Resources
Digital Resources
Digital resources means many different things, often within the same project. Photo archives, online document collections, exploration tools, access portals, and more all fall into this category. I have helped many institutions plan and launch important resources to the public, aiding scholars, school children, teachers, and general audiences.
Games and Activites
Games and activities help visitors better understand complicated subjects. These experiences are not just an "add-on", they are often what visitors remember most! The best activities provide a structure for learning as well as enough space for exploration. Through my work as a project coordinator for a digital heritage company, I have gained a wealth of experience brainstorming features, developing wireframes, validating concepts, writing proposals, and guiding the implementation of these types of interactives.
Lesson Plans
Lesson plans help busy teachers' quickly understand the value of your exhibit. Well planned pre and post-visit activities, solid connections to curriculum strands, and specific outcomes are vital to building this important relationship.
